Our Environmental Commitments

Efficient Route Planning

We use route optimisation tools to plan the most fuel-efficient journeys for every job. By reducing unnecessary mileage we lower our fuel consumption and carbon output on every delivery.

Reducing Idle Time

Our drivers are trained to switch off engines during all loading and unloading operations. We have a zero-tolerance policy for unnecessary idling, particularly in residential areas.

Waste Minimisation

We minimise single-use plastics and packaging materials across our operations. Where packing materials are used for customer moves, we use reusable blankets and materials wherever possible.

Monitoring & Improvement

We regularly review our environmental performance data, including fuel usage per job and average vehicle load rates, to identify opportunities to reduce our carbon footprint over time.

Compliance with Regulations

AHA Prime complies fully with all UK environmental legislation including the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and the Clean Air Strategy. We keep pace with new regulatory requirements as they are introduced.

Future Commitments

We are actively evaluating the transition to low-emission vehicles for our London urban routes. We aim to introduce at least one electric or hybrid van into our fleet by 2026 as part of our ongoing decarbonisation plan.
